Thanks!

It will probably save your bacon one day. On My Grub (Not Uefi) booting boxes I always leave it in, since the first option is to boot from Harddisk.
That way I can start rescuing right away when lightning strikes.

I know it is perfect to back up "documents and settings" for my Windows using friends who were suddenly unable to log in.
I also have cloned one PC to another via network with it (possible to clone to 40! computers simultaneously with Trinity).
I also use it to set up UEFI with REFIND to dual boot Linux and Windows on the same disk.

Downloaded the ISO, burned a + & - DVD and does not boot? Used KB3 like any ISO I used.

I wonder what went wrong?

You need to hit F2 and set your boot to legacy.
Then set your boot order to boot DVD or USB first.

After that it will boot and you can fix things and then set your boot back to (U)EFI.

The Boot Order is correct, however, going to check on the Legacy setting.

Thanks.

Yes that is crucial.
UEFI will not let you boot anything but Windows stuff.

I had to re install the Boot Loader. Is it normal to change when you change the BIOS to Legacy Boot?

So you changed to Legacy Boot, then you ended up having to reinstall the boot loader?
Yep, you'll have to bite it. It shouldn't be that way but I've seen it happen several times. I've also seen it not happen. It depends. I got lucky on my last laptop.
