SRWare Iron multiple vulnerabilities.

Postby dedanna1029 » 11 Jun 2011, 13:36

Came across this in my regular weekly email from Secunia. The problem is, the latest Linux version is the one I just last night (a few hours ago) picked up, which is 11.0.700.2, not 3. So, I don't know what's up there. It may be that this doesn't apply to the Linux version, but I'm posting it to be safe rather than have anyone else who uses Iron be sorry.

Oops time to drop it I guess! That is not good at all! Opera is just as good so I think I will switch to it.

Well, for the meantime anyway, until they come out with .3.

I'm beginning to suspect that the vulnerabilities may have been just for the windows version.

If you look here, you'll see that on June 14th, version 12 was released for Windows. Still no update from the last that I got, 11.0.700.2, for Linux at all.

I've tweeted them for clarification. We'll see if I get a response or not.
