NSA Backdoor Exploit in Windows 8 Uncovered?

A NSA backdoor may have been uncovered in Windows 8 in Germany:
An internal document issued by IT experts working for the German federal government warned national agencies and companies not to use Windows 8. The reason? An alleged backdoor exploit has been discovered, and the details were obtained and published by German site Zeit Online. The leaked message suggests that the NSA likely has access to a hidden feature which apparently can’t be shut off and allows Microsoft to remotely control any computer running the software.

It looks like "Secure boot" is not secure at all. It only ensures that the NSA backdoor in Windows 8 stays open.

After this news was popped this was heavily denied and rejected as false accusations

So you be the judge of what is the most likely scenario:

Is this simply "damage control" in the name of "security" or has the initial lack of trust following Prism, made everybody too paranoid?

In any case it is clear that Prism seriously is hurting American companies.
