Apple disappoints fans with modest iPhone 4 update

Postby dedanna1029 » 04 Oct 2011, 23:53

Newly minted Apple CEO Tim Cook had oversized shoes to fill at the company’s new product launch in Cupertino on Tuesday. He did his best, but like the new product he introduced, he fell a bit short of expectations.

Cook appeared relaxed in his black button-down shirt and jeans and even poked fun at the high stakes of the heavily hyped product launch, his first as spokesman-in-chief since the resignation of Steve Jobs. (“This is my first product launch since being named CEO — I'm sure you didn't know that," he quipped to the crowd.).

No surprise, the disappointment is here.

Good find :s
There are limits to what you can do with a phone - even if it starts with an i?
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Is easy to get to the top, staying in the top is even harder.

When the iPhone launched was revolutionary, what is the next step? Just small changes and the honeymoon is over.

So each upgrade is just a tad more of what was before and the wow factor is wearing out.

I just learned last night that Steve Jobs just kicked the bucket...
Time to buy Apple stocks since they are coming down.
