On the Ulteo side, life is very exciting:
* First of all we've got very good market traction and got selected
in small and very large virtualization projects during the past few
months. This validates both our Open Virtual Desktop solution and our
subscription-based Open Source business model. More announcement early
next year about this.
* Second, we have built a new OVD v3.0 that has reached beta stage.
This new beta has many features that you will most likely appreciate
like:
- full seamless application display on the desktop
- local and network directory mapping
- local USB stick support
- better Windows and Linux applications performance
- sound support
- among other good news...
We won't say it all here, but now you can become an early Ulteo OVD
v3.0 beta tester!
We already have a few early organization adopters testing the beta
and within a couple of weeks we are going to expand that early beta
program.
If you have a short or medium term Ulteo-like project to virtualize
application or desktop delivery, please describe it in 2-3 lines and
submit it to us at: < betatest @ ulteo.com > to have a chance to
become an early OVD v3.0 beta tester and dive into new features.
If you don't have a specific project at the moment, just mention that
you are interested in the beta program and we are going to add you to
a next phase.
* Third, we got many requests asking us how it was possible to invest
in Ulteo. Unfortunately, we are not a publicly traded corporation.
Anyway, for interested people we have set up an online form so you can
register and get informed about further early investment opportunity
in Ulteo.
