PC-BSD
What do you think? It looks good but I never got a functioning server out of it. Also there is almost no community support. Today I fired up my PC-BSD in Virtual box and it just froze (It used to work). Not to sure about that stability thing anymore (Could be KDE of course). I just never got it to work right.

Re: PC-BSD
I hear it's broken bad, the latest release. Haven't actually tried it though.

Re: PC-BSD
I've had similar problems with PC-BSD viking. I've had it install perfectly with vbox, but for some reason that same dvd hangs when I try it in live mode on my new laptop, as well as the older laptop that it was first installed under a virtual machine. I really wanted it to work as I wanted to test a BSD machine out, but it didn't work out.
Re: PC-BSD
Yes exactly. I think it is a shame but the BSD community seems to be dying (Both of them ). Looks like the foundation is not strong enough for that system. A shame really.

Re: PC-BSD
when PC-BSD can't even detect WIRED internet and breaks my windows partition completely, its a deal-breaker.
