Lokheed martin goes open source

Postby viking60 » 28 Jul 2010, 22:00

Lookheed release EurekaStreems

This is a server platform tool that makes it easier to set up social networking on the Apache server.
For some reason a woman called Dana Blankenhorn has something against it. I cannot imagine why. If it is good we will use it. If it is not we won't.

Saw this one coming... good move, IMHO.

It looks a bit like what Joomla and Drupal can accomplish, but It sure is nice to have yet another alternative.

Yeah, really! Thing is, it appeared to me to be pay-for software? Not that that's a bad thing (free software doesn't necessarily mean free-as-in-beer)

It is an open source project now (look at the very top of the page). That is the news (kind of).

Yeah, I know it is. But the link gives the impression it's pay-for open source software. *shrug*

I didn't try to download it or anything. Just looked at the page.
