It is a bit hard to place the subscriptions in a different directory in Akregator but deleting all the other feeds and renaming the directory went just fine.
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

All I had to do was go to the Feed menu, then New folder, type in a name for it, hit the enter key, then just drag your feed into it with the mouse.

Ah yes under source there is the New folder option - thanks.

Got it! Mine is Norwegian hence the feed/sources confusion. In Norwegian feed is called "Kilder".
