I used to have an Avatar and went away just before the website upgrade

You can upload it again or pick from the Gallery.
I have to apologize for the major changes but phpBB has EOL of the version I was running and version 3.1 is very different. I am not sure I am too happy with it either because all my mods had to go and the new Mod system called extensions is not working.
Seems to have been some slight avatar trouble too in the transition. You will find your old avatar in the backup board:

It's great that you have that but this kitty here is in memoriam. He was my mum's and my kitty, and we still miss him badly. He died one year ago this month, of cancer, after a long fight for life. I prefer my own for this reason.
