PhpBB3.1 is a whole different animal so you will notice a lot of changes. I had to remove all old mods to make the transit and will try to re-implement them when/if I have the time.
Also some of the recent posts are gone and that is my bad due to restoring the wrong database but it is not much so we will be good to go from here.
I had to take the plunge now because we cannot keep posting in two boards.
There are tons of new functions in 3.1 ...so I won't mention them.
You may want to upload your avatars and implement them again.

Your traditional Moderator Control Panel MCP is on the top left.
Users will find their User control panel on the top right as a drop down menu.

Many former mods are now implemented like the "Quick links" on the top left where you can find the unread posts etc.
