Having read the books and viewed the trailer i can see why David Eddings family refuses the rights to make a movie.
Anne Mcaffreys family is the same way.
hollywood likes to take liberties with the appearance and storylines so much that they ruin them.
another series they f#cked up is the shanara cronicles. while the movie is ok it is completely off of the story line.
with the advent of cgi it would be so easy for them to follow the books to the letter but they don't.
artistic license should never be tampered with!
