paint-ball warrior

Postby gnuuser » 16 Sep 2017, 01:14

laughing my butt off again. Im a paint-ball warrior :berserkf
the kids got me involved in their paint-ball combat games!
so i went out and got a low cost marker and gear,
but what they forgot is my military experience in missile ballistics :-D
once I determined the trajectory it was child's play to keep them behind the barriers and easy to pepper them with paint every time they stepped out to go for the flag.

hell of a great stress reliever by the way! and i slept like a log that night

since i own a little woodland area Im going to set up a couple good courses on my land.
our area doesn't have any good places set up yet so it will be a marketing bonus too.

they do sting a little bit but not for long, and they can tire you out so you sleep good
you can get vests with plates or padding for the body and you must wear a mask.
(no course will let you play without one) (including my own)
in general there are a few safety rules you must follow and on some of the bigger courses they chronograph your marker to assure its under 270 fps
and if the catch you boosting it up during a game you are usually permanently banished from that course.

its great because our wives (those who aren't playing ) make up picnic dinners and drinks and we all have a good time.
one of the gals wants to set up a facebook page and post the "kill shots"

I think the greatest thing about it is you can shoot the crap out of someone and enjoy a few beers with them after the games are done.
got a couple bruises where the paintballs didn't break
