It is well maintained in Manjaro but I have experienced problems with it in other distros.

Mageia is one of them. When used to be Mandrake, the 1st time it came out, I think in 07 or 08, used to work really good.

mandrake 2008, with kde 3.4/5 ;)
the last pretty run MDV before the bastards have corrupt in the factory of Mandriva

hmm.. was it not mandriva ? how ever.. 2008 :)

the openmandriva becomes every more bad, they are removes the draktools fully.. OMV 4.0 what for a bullshit..

it should again give a Mandrake again.. a distribution with fully configurations tools for all so a re edification of Draktools
and a re edification of mandrake with redhat packets with actual used rpm .. where gives sources for exactly actuall rpm's of urpmi ..

oh i dream of 2008 .. was a short nice time ...

and did you hear, debian want go also to change the packet management to rpm :)

It was Mandriva, IMHO the best distribution ever made, 2008.1. I miss it.

To me was Mandrake 10.1

That one worked super fast and stable on my Pentium 1.6 GHz laptop and the AMD 64 Newcastle processor...

the bernie lomax should reactivated and updated to the actuall stand of the things..
and the orginal drakinstaller should again used.. hmmm...
would be good if proyvind read this couple lines .. me interested what's his opinion about it ..
behind this long time..
