Is it worth looking for work in the states any more?

This is the forum where "spamming" is allowed. Companies may present and publish Linux related jobs here. Findings to that effect may be gathered here. And why not present yourself as a candidate if you are looking for a Linux related job?

Is it worth looking for work in the states any more?

Postby dedanna1029 » 13 Jul 2011, 18:30

About those 'job creators': Cisco to cut 10,000 jobs while lobbying for tax break. We have had other mass layoffs all over the country with other major companies as well over the last 2 years; it's still just the beginning of them. Makes one completely discouraged, and wonder if there's any sense in trying any more.

Yep, it's called sub-standard employers and workers both, and still everyone says "Made in America" like the stupid spend and waste crap we sell is so great. Screw dat. I'm buying European from here on... and really don't appreciate having to work with and for sub-standard companies and workers, even if I do get paid a wonderful minimum wage for it. :arrogant:

and when you add the ugly head of workspace bullying it adds another nightmare to the list. :f
considering that the bullies band together under the disguise of being management , it tends to make working in some places absolute horror!
but good news on the horizon is that there are now legal services taking up the banner against workplace bullying :B
