iMania is back

Postby viking60 » 19 Sep 2014, 16:52

People are sleeping in front of Apple shops to buy an iPhone6. In Tokyo and New York people started to spend the nights in front of Apple stores before the iPhone 6 was even presented.

Since this is a tech site and not a medical site we will restrain from commenting what treatmens that would be available to them...

Apple's congregation is lojal though - and even if the first people in the que may be paid "Apple sleepers" the last ones belong to the true congregation.

Exactly what the iPhone6 brings to the market that is not there already is hard to spot. The one thing that many liked about iPhone was that it was smaller than the Android phones. With IPhone + that advantage is gone too.

Nevertheless; Apples success with the iPhone6 is already a reality due to the many "pre-orders".
It may be the Apple pay that is attractive; there you can identify yourself with your fingerprints and use the iPhone as a credit card.

Many fear that it is only a matter of time before all those fingerprints will be transfered to certain agencies, who only have a register over the fingerprints of criminals so far...

I seriously do not understand what exactly it is that people get out of spending so much effort on getting a particular phone. It seems like people really are using cell phones, televisions, and cars as the yard stick by which they measure the value of their lives. :confused

It has all the signs of a cult/church service.

During the release, Tim Cook was like a evangelist, U2 provided the band/singing and the others the testimonials/guest pastors.

The congregation was dumbfounded like the Apple 1984 commercial.

To me is creepy as hell !!
