Oracle acquires RightNow for $1.5 billion

Oracle is reaching for the sky by acquisition of the cloud customer service company RightNow. This is a result of the Oracle rivalry with Salesforce.com and is meant to be a blow at the heart of Salesforce.com.
Oracle is going for the leadership role in the call center.
And they are very active these days so they might acquire more cloud based businesses. Controling the cloud is true power -for sure!
