Lately I have had a very slow boot process in my Manjaro. It tried to load some kernel modules for USB and failed 5 times before it went on.
The message was something like this:
USB device descriptor read 64 error -110
I did boot and there were no problems other than that the boot toke waaay to long.
I disconnected all my USB's and replaced them and rebooted a load of times - and nothing helped
What finally worked was to turn off the power - like switching off the "real" power button on the power supply, and remove the power cord (to make sure) for a minute.
Reconnect the cord and switch on the power - and starting the box.
By a miracle the ultra fast Manjaro boot speed was back.
Don't ask me why it works - it just does
