I have this good (very) old NVIDIA GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] graphics cars. Now I have "inherited" Geforce GTX280
from b1o so I am simply going to switch it hoping that the drivers are the same.
Backups are for chickens so here we go.....
and my monitor stayed black so I have to control what cables to connect....tomorrow...

Re: Switching GPU today!
. And here I am again I got b1o to help me figure out what cables to connect and My Manjaro worked with it straight away
I set all the parameters in Steams Team Fortress to the highest quality and started playing - nice.
Compiz works flawlessly so simply switching the card was all I needed to do. ..and connect the cables correctly
This card is getting more support than my old one so hopefully it will last a while. There was nothing wrong with the old one either.
