Speakers have blown out

Postby dedanna1029 » 06 May 2010, 02:59

My trusty speakers of the last several years have finally gone out, but the subwoofer is still good.

I need to know what's good to get these days for an audiophile - can't spend a heckuva lot, but need something good. If I have to, I can get over what I've budgeted, around $125 USD.

Thanks.

Quite a few years ago, I bought a set of altec lansing ada885 and, while not an audiophile, I have enjoyed them a lot. Here's one detailed post about them, idk if you could find them anymore: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/611705/

Thanks rolf. Will check into those.

Am debating on beginning to gradually build the HTPC I want. Was just informed late yesterday afternoon, that my contract at work has been extended until November. :)
