Germany has forbidden smartwatches for Children - by law.
They are regarded as surveillance tools that can record conversations without consent - which is required in Germany.
It is unclear why this should be any better for adults.
The Norwegian "Consumer report" has made a report about the watches and it is like everything in the Internet of Things:
Out of control with no regulations.
In Norway the producers claim that all security flaws are corrected since Forbrukerrådet (Consumer reports) discovered them - so it is safe to buy them now.
How reassuring: The "Consumer Report" guys discovered them before the producers.
They must be trustworthy....
