Google to block Javascript in Gmail

Google is already blocking .exe .msc and .bat files, but until now the Javascript files - .js - have been allowed.
As of the 13th of February the Javascripts will be blocked as well.

Javascripts can maliciously hurt your computer with ransomware and it's likes so this is a security update.

Google will detect Javascripts even if the are packed in .zip, .tgz, .gz or .bz2 files.

And if you need to send a Javascript to someone? The solution is always the same - use the Google clouds....

I would recommend a cloud with end to end encryption like Megasync +1

I am not a fan of Java Scripts; but is a necessary evil for now.

Yes.
Javascript is fun but it can be dangerous.
