According to Reuters, French parliamentarians accuse the United States of blackmail for European companies such as the Deutsche Bank. The US Department of Justice's abuse of US law, particularly against banks, is abusive, said Karine Berger, MPs of the ruling socialists, in the Reuters interview. "We call on France and Europe to make it clear to the US that this behavior is no longer tolerated." Berger advocated a "legal uprising" in Europe and a tough course against US companies that violated European law.

US courts consider everything US jurisdiction!
If my data are on a server of a US company - like Microsoft - it is considered to be under US jurisdiction. It does not matter that the server is in Ireland or in the Netherlands.
Given the US policy of spying on "Foreigners" that is not satisfactory for Europeans.
If you use Dollars or can say "Apple pie" then it is definitely under US jurisdiction so the US get to punish everybody in the world.
I guess the Europeans will make it clear that European laws apply in Europe. That will put Apple Microsoft and Google in a rough position where they will be torn between the US authorities ans the European authorities.
In the long run the US is likely to lose that "war" simply because Europe is a bigger market than the US.

I might give the perception that I am against the US; I am not. The problem is, we have an infestation in the gov. These globalist jerks, they think they are the rulers of the world and everybody has been taken on a nasty ride. They have no respect for anybody and gives the perception that we all are in favor of it.
My take on Google is, they started with the right foot.; champions of the FOSS. There are forces that hijacked the company in the same way the gov got hijacked. Some time ago, a meeting with Obama was set in St Francisco with the tech companies; Steve Job attended. About a year later, he died. Maybe is not too far from the truth and knowing how he was with his Company and Products, he might refused certain mandates(tampering). Just saying... Tim Cook comes to play and we all know the FBI backdoor thing with Apple.
Not suprised the entire world is fed up with "US". What hurts more than bullets is money and the US Dollar is nothing more than a house of cards. The whole world need to be onboard to make it work. If they are not, the Dollar will fall and the US will go down the drain. One big issue is, the Dollar is the World Reserve Currency and all currecies are tied to it in one way or other. Dollar falls, so the rest... the question is, who is going to pull the plug and take the "blame" for a global financial crisis?
Is a finacial minefield out there...

You can be proud of your country and still criticize. Lots of politicians don't get that.
I think the global ambitions are there and that is not a good thing. The US needs competition like everybody else to improve. Division of power is important in every national democracy - that goes on a global basis too.
The Snowden case has shown that they are pretty much ruling Europe - not one country in western Europe dares to take Snowden. He gets important awards and cannot receive them in European countries because they are under heavy US pressure.
The Dollar is a one instrument; Surveillance and pressure are other. We have the UN to find common grounds but since Hillary C. and Obama spied on them; that is no good arena either.
The US gov want to control rather than cooperate. That is not always the best medicine.

I think, some high up EU leaders are on board with the Globalist agenda. My impression of Merkel is that she is one of them. Looks like she is doing all the right steps to make the EU fail.
Money in its very essence is wealth in a unit of measure. A way to enslave someone, you take their wealth away. By getting in debt, the individual and/or collective is owned.
Will not be surprised, the 1 Worldwide Currency will be pitched after this massive globlal financial debacle. The Russians are not in the game, the greedy Chinese wants to be that currency.
Trump is the wrench thrown in the machine, jamming all the cogs and gears. Both parties does not want him but the people does. Like one guy put it... is the People Vs Capital Hill. He is not part of the Globalist and they are afraid that he will ruin the gig for both of them.
He wants the complete opposite... bring the troops back and increase commerce. Let the market live without constrictions and give the people the power to move up in life.
What we have are lots of unwanted regualtions, redundant gov agencies, mass surveilance, corruption, etc...I can see why the Brits voted for the Brexit.

Re: Rebellion against the dollar: France accuses the US of b
The Brits have global ambitions by tradition, but have forgotten that they are not a superpower anymore. They refer to the US as "old colonies" since it feels better than being the 51st US state.
Merkel is screwing up big time by opening the borders for all muslim refugees - that will encourage others to leave the EU too because there is no way the EU can take all of them.
It also increases the danger of terror.
It is strange that countries in the neighbourhood with similar culture and religion don't take any refugees. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai etc are wealthy enough - and do have more than enough space.
The Brits want to control their borders better, Merkel's generosity on opening European borders - partly on their behalf - did not go down well. It certainly is rejected in countries like Hungary and will probably boost parties that have anti immigration agendas - in all of Europe.
In terms of trade I believe the Brexit is close to shooting themselves in the foot for Britain.
But we all have problems - look at your Presidential candidates - that must be a malfunction worthy of Windows 98. Would it be possible to reboot and start over?

I think the Brexit was a better move than stay together on one set of rules. The US is an older form of the EU. Each state is indepedent but the Fed Gov grew so out of proportion that became a money black hole. By design, was not supposed to be run that way; the balance is way off. Use the US as a time capsule, like how the EU will look in the future.
The Globalist want to remove the borders, some that sound nice a loving but in reality is just sucking up nations wealths via currency. Just like the Dollar is today. Will not be surprised, the next step is to come up with one single and global currency. Whoever gets the chance to issue such currency, will be the owner of the world.
Trump is the product of such mess and also goes to Hillary. Trump is a businessman that is NOT in the drinking club; Hillary is an extension of the Globalist Elite. So all boils down to... the PEOPLE Vs CAPITOL HILL. Not endorsing either one but Trump is somebody with a enough money on its own and knows how the media works. Pretty much he "stole" the elections and the party from the Globalist and they are trying their very best to shut him off. Our Political system is corrupted beyond repairs. We do not have choices, is a monopoly of 2 parties that does not allow any other ones to play; they are there, but they are suppresed.
Honestly Viking... you are so right. The USA needs a reboot but also, new Hardware.
Watch this video, do not mind the Gold sales pitch, but explains very easy on how our currency is made. The sad thing is, the US Dollar is the World Reserve Currency.
