Bitcoin accepted to pay for public services!

Postby viking60 » 29 May 2016, 23:10

In Zug - a town in Switzerland - you can now pay for public services with Bitcoin.
With this Bitcoin is gaining ground and acceptance.

Switzerland is not a banana republic.

Zug is the first town worldwide to accept Bitcoin. Others may follow. Zug may attract lots of business this way:
Luzius Meisser, president of the Swiss Bitcoin Association, told NBC News that the town council's move was "sending a strong signal that crypto-startups are welcome here.

So now the world has a finance center for Bitcoin; Not London, Frankfurt or Zürich but Zug!

I am afraid that Bitcoin is going to take the SDR route if some greasy banker takes it.

It has to be widely accepted to be a real currency - That can be a dilemma.
