Google with Gov. attack warnings

Postby viking60 » 25 Mar 2016, 13:46

Google has improved its warning system and will make customers that are victims of Government e-mail hacking aware of it.
This is the message that you hopefully never will see:

Less than 0,1% of Google's users receive it. But they could be journalist's and opposition. This example is from Syria where the government hacked the systems of the opposition.

This is hardly surprising and likely to happen in any country that is at war (let us hope Google did not help IS with this).

If Google has the same take on this all over the world then it would be OK because evaluating politics is hardly within their area.

It is hard to say if they can keep this up in the US but probably not - since they must oblige when the government demands it - like everybody else.
