I'm installing Mageia 7 on this bloody thing, in the hope that it has the wireless driver. I'm doubting it will, as the newer the distro, the newer the hardware it supports - not the old. Still, worth a try. If all else fails, I'll try Arch.

I used the ndiswraper, seems to work but on some puters, seems to forget to connect when it goes to powersave mode, or install again, suffers a bit of CRS

Without wireless, I can't get to the Windows drivers. I'm going to have to figure something out.
I have other issues with this. Will need to start a new thread when I can.

The problem being, that my phone doesn't detect usb very well. I've tried several times with different flash sticks, with no luck. :(
I'm going to have to go to the library, I guess, but I have the other issues to sort out first.

I meant...

Do you have a phone that has a SD Card for extra storage? Most Samsung phones has those capabilities. You can take that card.from the phone and use an USB adapter to copy the files. Some phones are decent connecting to a puter, transfer rate changes, some are slow as heck.

Yes, but no room on my sdcard right now. I have a usb adapter for it, but no room to begin with.
I think I'm going to give up the ghost on this.
