Brother laserprinter on Mageia Topic is solved

I have this lady that I help abroad and she had gotten a tech minded guy to help her install a brother laser printer.
I got him to pick a brother from the Cups list and this also turns up in Libreoffice so the printer is defined but I suspect he picked the wrong drivers.

So "I" (this guy on my instructions) tried to download and install according to this:

But that was pretty impossible because I had "no rights" as normal user and no rights as "root user".
So it simply did not work.

Need a tip here - and make it easy because I am not physically doing it.

Well - the solution was simply to wait!
I recently updated that box and suddenly the Cups drivers for the printer were there; so I installed them and now it prints just fine

It is all about the Brother DCP-L2500D Compact Mono Laser All-in-One Printer
That printer did not have drivers in Linux-Mageia when it was bought - now it has.

I still using my HP Laser Jet 1300n... by today's standards is a dot matrix printer as long it works and can find cartridges for it I am good to go.
