When I had NOT uninstalled it, or done anything at all with it???

Sounds strange.
starting chkrootkit in a terminal as root does not work?
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

It's there, as you know, now. I had to install it again. The point is, it disappeared in the first place from my installed proggies. wtf unistalled it, when I had NOT uninstalled it? it disappeared. Period, when it WAS fine.
