How can I give my computer internet? I have a laptop with windows xp and a computer with windows xp i get internet on my laptop and i have a ethernet cord connected to my laptop to my computer how can i give my computer internet then?

You need to set up Internet Connection Sharing:

In your case your laptop is the host referred to in that MS KB article and your computer will be the client.
