I don't know if it would be considered so or not. The Mandriva Wiki was just one of the sources (see the references page).
The class I did it for isn't Open Source however, so I'm just being safe.
And really, the paper doesn't tell anyone anything that they can't get at the wiki anyway, so they're best off getting the info there. This is way too poorly written, IMO. It's just the only way I could do it.
