Personally I am using artix linux nowadays with openrc .

I don't care about init freedom ... but I feel that working fine with my machine .

openrc is on gentoo .
runnit is on void linux
there's also s6 init system and I dont know about that much ..

personally I am now an dwm user and I and my cpu is amd ryzen 5 (2 gen) on my lappy and the
the baklight I choose on arch linux was illum-git and
I do the mirgration to artix ...

I really dont care about init freedom ....that I care is that i am using larbs and working fine on artix than
arch linux

I kind of liked their approach and I certainly was skeptic about privacy regarding systemd so I made a video they could use (it is in the Artix forum somewhere).

I like Artix but I have stayed somewhat closer to the new Arch way.
Found the video in the Artix forum :cheers

There you will see what I think about systemd-free distros :tux5:

It seems that Artix has been alive and kicking for 4 years now so that really speaks for it and would make it an even better candidate for putting it on my boxes.

I'll do without systemd any day of the week, any distro. I've hated it from the get-go.
