Howto install MS-Office in Linux

Postby viking60 » 17 Feb 2012, 13:19

Using Wine you can install Windows programs like MS office in Linux.
Wine will be in the repository of your Linux distro.

It is not necessary and LibreOffice is just as good and you can open all your MS.Office files in it. But Linux is all about choice I guess.
Even bad ones :-D
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Does this also mean that I can install free beer to FreeBSD? Or a nuclear narsenal to Intranet Imploder?

Now, that would be useful, I think. We could call it a new product called... Oh... wait... there's already Internet Imploder... with developers that had to be drunk when they wrote the code for it...
I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.
