IBM breaks Open Source Pledge

IBM pledged back in 2005 not to assert patents against open source software. Now Hercules has come up with a solution that will make the extremely costly consultants from IBM obsolete.
That is reason enough to break the promise.

I thought Linus Torvalds was working there?

Last I heard (and I don't know how dated this is), he works for OSDL.

Hm interesting, if Linux could become a gaming platform like Win, I am sure it will be a breakthrough for Linux
