I have been using Ubuntu past 1 year and it a good OS just like macOS. So I use it on my Dell laptop and stream shows on it. Lately, I have been facing region restriction problem while I stream and this is getting on my nerve. So research how to bypass it someway. I get to know about VPN service that can help to change my IP address for bypassing region restriction. I found it hard to find a service for Linux, all the service on the internet are mostly for Android, iPhone, windows & mac. So if possible please recommend me VPN service for Linux.

Welcome ryansege! :greetings

I use Zenmate in Chromium to watch German Football. You can change the country so that the restrictions go away - I believe that is your main issue.
,
It is free but there is some nagging about upgrading to premium.

Opera comes wit a free built in VPN but I don't think you can change the country there.

I have tried many VPNs on linux and the best suitable and easy to use vpn are only two. Purevpn and Express vpn. Both VPNs are most reputable and provide great pricing. Also, Purevpn does have a wide range of VPN Server that's why I would recommend you to try it.

On ubuntu I think now any vpn can work. Those days are gone when most apps support windows. Now on public level vpn had evolved and now we can see that most of all vpn companies do focus on Linux too.

I would recommend nordvpn to use on linux. Nordvpn currently has best features and protocols to secure your online connection. You should read Nordvpn Review before choosing any other vpn.

Nobody has mentioned Anonine https://anonine.com/

It comes from a country that is not 5, 9 or 14 Eyes since those countries are likely/able to monitor your traffic regardless of your VPN.

Other than that I do not know if it is any good.

I've been using PureVPN for over a year now and have no complaints. Being able to select your ports and protocol are really nice for customizing your connection. This is great for making sure my torrent client performs optimally and allows me to host a number of services behind the VPN. You can read more about this VPN service like customer or user reviews here.

may should we speak about own vpn-providing, via selfhostproviding like dyndns, selfhost.de and so on,
where be computers connectable where be own by owner and providing the vpn by own..

The providers be in able to be be taken over from div. facility's .. if i look to the States or Russian ..
can it be .. so, what's there near to providing his own VPM via Fritzbox or own Computer-fitted owned VPN (via dyndns/Selfhost),
this should more supported and.. if we directly on it, so why not then make it to provide it
via "anonymus" [strike]login (name,pw : anonymus) [/strike] operate a free service for all who can not
do this include socks 4/5.. with this can we take out the wind of the sails from the payed/sell VPN-Services and
give therewith a more free internet back ..
hmmm.. it should exist a Linux/Windows Program where makes able to create a VPN-login

and a installable Clientsoftware where change the Software of the network interface
and routes directly all over the tunnel to the vpn-server where makes maybe also
open an proxy to an anonymous proxy ..

an client-software as example https://www.shrew.net/software
(but this Software is no longer maintained.. but it works with fritzbox.. Win:Jul 01 2013/Linux: Jun 05 2013 )
this is a software from the own laptop to the vpn-server of the Fritz Box.
I have try to connect via Networkmanager and vpn-client.. to connect the fritzbox, but it works not really..

best regards
Blacky
