Devolo dlan 200 AVplus Network kit

Postby viking60 » 31 Jan 2011, 21:04

I am tired of the "salad" on my floor so I thought I should invest in this thing. Power and data on the same line using existing power cables. It sure looks good to me :B The products are delivered by Devolo

these devices use the ground or neutral wire as an extended antenna and they work quite well
the only drawbacks are that it places the network wiring in close proximity to a high voltage source and there can be a problem with electrical noise if the wiring is around a motor.
although i cant be positive without seeing the schematics and testing it on the bench with an o-scope
