RIP Paint!

Postby dedanna1029 » 25 Jul 2017, 20:42

It's about time, really. OK, OK, past time.
Microsoft says that features on the list will be either removed from Windows 10 or "not in active development and might be removed in future releases".

I saw that yesterday. Well, it has its uses, not the best but was simple and pretty easy to use. I guess they want you to use Power Point, just like Open Office Draw.

I have Win 10 on my laptop (Dual Boot) and just sits there, doing nothing, waiting for the just in case I need it.

I never need Windows lol.
Paint I use at the library computers, it's all they have. I do have to admit that it comes in handy there to edit things I need to edit on the fly - album covers for bands I work with, to submit their stuuff to Musicbrainz and to last.fm when I'm doing artist pages.

I will say though, this is why I want to get the wireless going on the laptop - the library is now over three miles to walk, vs. practically next door before. I moved close to work.
