Eh I am not sure if your mother installed Windows 10 or if she never would install Windows 10.

In case she updated to Windows 10 then I hear that people say it is not worse than Windows 8.1 or even better. In terms of being spied upon it is worse though. Windows 10 is the first pure spyware edition of Windows.

This is probably a development that Microsoft felt compelled to since Google is so successful with it, and made them look old with charging for software that Google provided for "free".

My father updated to Windows 10 to - so most people will press that update nagging and end up at Microsoft's mersey.

They are particular about their trustworthiness and spend a lot of calories emphasizing it:

No - she hasn't installed Win 10. She installed a proggie called Never 10 in an effort to stop the nagging. I hear it works well but am unsure.
