Beware. Linux vulnerability.
I do not know if they've patched this yet, but it is a kernel vulnerability. Please be careful, and act accordingly.
I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.

Re: Beware. Linux vulnerability.
Thanks Jim.
That covers me on Manjaro where i use Linux4.8 and 4.4
I believe Centos 7 i patched too since the Centos dev "discovered" it (Kernel 3.10)

Re: Beware. Linux vulnerability.
Update;
Kernels 4.8 and 4.4LTS are patched in the Stable Manjaro update from 23.10.2016 - so I am covered. Centos is patched as of 25.10 too so a simple yum update will fix it.

Re: Beware. Linux vulnerability.
The community can react quicker than Hillary Clinton saying the word "Classified"...
Re: Beware. Linux vulnerability.
Yeah or server
I see the fuss but I don't get the crime
I seriously doubt that the US administration uses mail for classified stuff....nobody is that stupid...
So she used a private server because she knew that the FBI and the NSA would look in on all here mails on the official server - they can even snoop in the president's mail.
I guess she didn't want to share.
So the moral is:
Spying is good - being spied upon is bad
Smart girl this Hillary

Re: Beware. Linux vulnerability.
The Classification issue is the crowbar to get on the Clinton Foundation inner workings Is just a legal technicality to gain access to the system. Is like someone taking a PC to the shop and the tech finds kiddy porn.
The Clinton Foundation is so corrupted from the most horrible crimes is beyond comprenhesion. There are cases from rape, bribering, racketeering, electoral fraud, embezelment, murders and the list goes on. Bill and Hillary are the devil on earth; very twisted and evil people.
Classified information is handled by couriers and/or encryption. Depending of the level, is either used via TACLAN/SIPRnet or Sneaker Net. The NIPRnet is for normal unclassified info. Yes, she compromised security by using an unsecure system. But that is just the tip of the iceberg, compared what is hidden in the server.

Re: Beware. Linux vulnerability.
Wow. What an OTT clusterf*ck this turned out to be. Again.
This was a Linux kernel vulnerability that was pointed out for Linux users, had nothing to do with HRC. Gods, people. Have we forgotten our mission at this forum?
