Re: Happy Debian Day
Debian is one of the most important out there. Without it there would be no Ubuntu or Mint. So it is fitting to have a day where we appreciate Debian (even if we do not use it).
Debian must be 21 years old today - if I am not mistaken.
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Re: Happy Debian Day
The age is of some importance since there are some "here today - gone tomorrow" distros like Fuduntu. Great distro but nevertheless gone..It matters if you want a system that just works year in and year out.
So staying around is good for that I use Arch 12 years old and Manjaro (still a baby but a very good "Arch made easy" distro). I am confident that Arch will stay around.
Fedora Centos OpenSUSE and Ubuntu are not going to go away either.
It is something to consider when recommending a distro.
