Ok I'll dive into it.
Meanwhile I have found/made an avatar for you:
:A

And the "flash problem" is only an example of what I cannot install due to the repo problem...

Updated and fired drakrpm - it does not seem to crash anymore... :s fixed!
That python dependency still stops java and it does stop a regular update:

The menu system is OK - I have no big problem with it. Those who have can easily change it. And yeah that crazy Penguin has some personality - so he can stay :-D

For some reason the Penguins on the login (kdm) are gone now :confused

I have downloaded your wallpapers from Git now I think that Moondrake text looks a bit like it has been infected with the crabs..
(less is more) But the text seems to be pretty fixed so ...
But then again if you want to go crazy why not take it all out :A

the python-lxml error seems a bit strange as it's a unversioned dependency which according to my querying of 2014.0 repos should be found in the main repo, so that's really strange...

I've backported a newer (3.2.4 vs 3.2.1) to the mdk_personal repo, not sure if it makes any difference, as from the top of my head I cannot come to think of what might be causing this..
I know there are several issues in the obsolete urpmi version shipped in that's causing strange behaviour, but it should "mostly" be fixed"..

Any chance you can give provide me with --debug output if it doesn't solve anything for you?

(btw. are you able to install python-lxml explicity first, then have the dependencies satisfied without complains? would be nice if you could check out as well while at it. :)

Hm?

It seems to have been inverted...?

Dunno how you got that one, I'm quite sure there's none like that in my git repo.. :p

Here's an iso I've just finished preparing and working out some blocker kinks, yet I've had no time to test it and I'm going away for the weekend: http://folk.uio.no/peroka/moondrake/bet ... 64-dvd.iso

It uses a newer kernel that'll also work under vms for x86_64.

Yeah, I've thought of using sourceforge, mirrtoring pther places etc., wadthinking of just using a metalink for it, at least when I have a new mirrorbrain in place to take care of all that..
will do so soon, just now my budget for hosting it isn't the greatest, but I'll get there again :)

Well the last download installed just fine.
The Norwegian Locale problem is stile there - I do Get the Norwegian environment but the "global" æøå ÆØÅ are not there - so I have to set them in the KDE settings.
No biggie - but the no keyboard is still not set by the config settings during install. Libreoffice is english.

Drakconf works.

Adding media fails due to MD5SUM (not surprising). We need repositories here.
Nano is there but when I try to install it I am asked to add the Contrib media which is already hooked up (CD ROM Contrib media).

There is this new option under System called "menu style" It just hangs - but I presume that is supposed to let us choose another type of menu.

The Timeframe function needs nepomuk which cannot be enabled.

Other than that this thing looks pretty ready.
