 | Not only did HP keep their promise to make WebOS open source they are heavily supporting it by hiring 50 engineers! and paying handsomly too.
Palm did have a lot of success with it so it could have a chance.

Yes this is a positive move. I bet it will be better than Win8 but it is hard to compete against Adroid and iOS these days.

I think they have enough killer patents to throw a wrench on the Apple's and MS's machinery.
