One of the most important Linux distros Fedora 16 is released. The Red Hat-sponsored Fedora Project is featuring the GNOME 3.2 desktop environment and virtualization and cloud enhancements -- including support for the Aeolus and OpenStack Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms. Version 16 upgrades the techie-focused Linux distribution to Linux 3.1, and moves up to the GRUB2 bootloader and Firefox 7.0.1, while offering enhanced contact and document management apps. The major new step might be the Gnome 3.2 implementation. Since the Linux society is fairly conservative and always reacts with skepticism to major changes. Also the Grub2 is a tough one, after I just barely have grasped Grub1. I must admit though that I am more curious than ever to check this one out. |

I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.
