Kernel 4.4

I checked out kernel 4.4 today on my old box.

It was OK but when running the steam game Team Fortress 2; the game suddenly shut down during play. Other than that everything worked just fine.
This error is probably more of a Steam issue than a kernel issue but I wouldn't know so I went back to kernel 4.1 where everything works.
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

4.4 doesn't seem quite "ready" yet to me...

Oh it was good enough. I guess it is depending on the hardware. Newer hardware will probably work better with it.

Mac? Sounds good; they sure are lookers - but they cost way too much. And I have Steam running nicely on 4.4 here too now so that was hardly the Kernel.

I like the idea of Linux running on a Mac.
At the same time, Macs as you say are so expensive, and the software for them is too, that it's like, why waste all that money you paid on the software? That's what we're doing when we put Linux on them.
