Kernel 4.1

Postby viking60 » 10 Jul 2015, 22:11

I just installed Kernel 4.1 which is easy on my favorite -Manjaro- and this kernel comes with a lot of improvements.
Seems snappy enough.

Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

4.1 ROCKS.
Hardware detection is great, it's snappy, and just works. :)

The development cycle for the next kernel came out on the 12th. New post coming up.
