Ubuntu drops Unity

Ubuntu will no longer develop the Unity Desktop :jackpot The new default will be Gnome (the second worst desktop).
Unity is still default with the current download but will be replaced in the next edition.

No They just finally listened to me and dropped the crap :mrgreen:
The Mobile phone strategy with the same OS everywhere is " out" these days.

Gnome is still a mobile phone OS so they might just jump there anyway.

I see... never used Ubuntu so never exeperienced Unity. For some odd reason, my gutt feeling tells me not to trust Cannonical.

Took them this long to drop Unity? Wow.
