What are you listening to right now?

What do we like? Where do we get it? What are you listening to?

I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.

That last piece is good (Three Days......).
I bet they will be signed.
Nothing like the Andrew Sisters of course; but still....

Haha.

In fact, they are signed by an independent label (I know the guy who owns it).
Infinite Hive Music
Our groups accept independent labels so long as they aren't major ones. We also accept radio presenters/stations who play indie music and allow the bands to submit their music to them, booking agents, promoters, etc.

At the end of the day, radio stations and radio presenters are the real promoters though (I know this from having been one). We're the ones that get the music heard, that get it plugged, etc.
The problem is, radio stations this day and age don't see it that way. Since the influx of computers to radio, there is very little plugging, personality, or anything left. It's not about the music, it's about the commercials.

... which is why I retired from it in 2005.
I'm a Wolfman Jack style; gotta be able to have personality, and be able to do awesome stuff with the music itself (cannae dae that with computers). It's just not what it once was. I cannae use a computer and do what I want to do with it, nor can I be able to allow myself to be repressed by these ClearChannel idiots.

I give up I live up I fill up*
Gotta keep my mind in motion
Gotta keep motion in my mind
Cut it out Leave it out take it out
All the things that make confusion
And diversions in these times
Breathing out Hold it out hold it down
buttoning down frustration out of neutral into drive
ray of hope keep afloat take a note
Need another survival strategy just to keep myself alive Too many ideas buzzin round inside my brain
Live in the history of now
And I'm feelin like there's
Nothing left that I can really explain l
Live in the history Live in the history Of now
In a maze In a haze In a rage
Can't tell the difference between
My TV internet or me
Who is that Who is this Who said that
America's next top strictly dancing ghost celebrity
And I'm always phasing between blinding lights and the deafening sound
And I can't even make out the words
Or make them match up with the mouths
Too many ideas buzzing round inside my brain
Live in the history of now
And I'm feeling like there's nothing left that

I can really explain
Live in the history
Live in the history Of now

Eye to Eye
Gotta get back to the desert
Gotta get right back to my soul
Burning sky
Where every drop of rain Is a blessing to behold
I'm not a relay
On an expanding circuit board
My mind won't fit on a server somewhere I could never afford
You can't download the sun
You can't download the sea
You can't download the sun
You can't download the sea
You'll never download me
You'll never download me
You'll never download me
Too many ideas buzzin round inside my brain
Live in the history of now
And I'm feelin like there's
Nothing left that I can really explain l
Live in the history
Live in the history of Now

bangin on the walls
Keep bangin on the walls
OF FORTRESS EUROPE!

2022 -A new European order
Robot guards patrolling the border
Cybernetic dogs are getting closer and closer
Armoured cars and immigration officers
A burning village in Kosovo
You bombed it out now you're telling us go home
Machine guns strut on the cliffs of Dover
Heads down people look out! we're going over
Burnin up! can we survive re-entry
Past the mines and the cybernetic sentries
Safe european homes built on wars
You don't like the effect don't produce the cause
The chip is in your head not on my shoulder
Total control just around the corner
Open up the floodgates Time's nearly up
Keep bangin on the walls of Fortress Europe

Keep bangin
Keep bangin on the walls of Fortress Europe
We got a right, know the situation
We're the children of globalisation
No borders only true connection
Light the fuse of the insurrection
This generation has no nation
Grass roots pressure the only solution
We're sitting tight
Cos assylum is a right
Put an end to this confusion
Dis is a 21st century Exodus
Dis is a 21st century Exodus

Burnin' up can we survive re-entry
Past the landmines and cybernetic sentries
Plane, train, car , ferry boat or bus
The future is bleeding coming back at us
The chip is in your head not on my shoulder
Total control around the corner
Open up the floodgates Time's nearly up
Keep bangin on the walls of Fortress Europe

Keep bangin
Keep bangin on the walls of Fortress Europe
This is a 21st century Exodus
This is a 21st century Exodus

They got a right - listen not to the scaremonger
Who doesn't run when they're feel the hunger
From where to what to when to here to there
People caught up in red tape nightmare
Break out of the detention centres
Cut the wires and tear up the vouchers
People get ready it's time to wake up
Tear down the walls of Fortress Europe
