Re: Comedy stuff

A joke for now.... An old Italian lived alone in New Jersey . He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work, as the ground was hard. His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament: Dear Vin...

Re: A Gearhead Thread

You can get a 3.4 L, is the same 2.8 but is bored out and stroked. So it should fit just nicely.

The 3.8 L is a completely different engine.

The 4.3L is a 350 Mouse Motor with Cylinders 3 and 4 removed.

On the S10 you can put the 4.3L but is a very tight fit without no many mods.

Re: A Gearhead Thread

Read again, so do we.

Anyway, is a Gearhead thread and the topic of the Ocean Dying is not what is about. Was bought up as an exploration of alternatives to find a suitable source of energy for a vehicle.

By the way, did they found a suitable vehicle for Ellen Cleghorne?

Re: A Gearhead Thread

Alcohol production can be done from any plant. The yield variates from plant to plant (Carbohydrates). In the USA people that lived in remote location could not get Gasoline as easy, as I said before, Gasoline is a Solvent that was sold in Pharmacies and General Stores by the Gallon or Jugs. So if y...

Re: A Gearhead Thread

Is funny, Rudolph Diesel had the idea of using BioFuels long time ago and now people are researching that. One of my researches was about having a farm to grow algae to produce oil for Biodiesel. I am on the impression that Algae has a better tolerance to freezing or gelling at lower temperatures. T...
