Re: Mandriva

Mandriva has a lot of potential and sure they have duds for leaders.

I remember when Gaël Duval left, right after the next release, it all went down hill.

Still a great distro, just lacked the soul we can say.

Here is some that came to me via e-mail. http://www.house.gov/apps/list/press/tx08_brady/pr_100728_hc_chart.html If that is how truly works, is very scary. I am not saying this is De Facto. So draw your own conclusions. http://www.house.gov/apps/list/press/tx08_brady/obama_chart.jpg

Re: George Carlin's final words to the world

Comedy is how you see it. I always see some funny on any situation. Is just what makes you laugh. Must confess that I have a sarcastic, very dark humor. I can be really serious and laugh at some. Might be perceived as been insensitive, but in reality I am not. Do you remember the movie with Eddie Mu...

Re: George Carlin's final words to the world

@Viking, anyone who believes that anyone has any opportunity in the U.S. for anything, is very ill-informed, and a dreamer. It's far, far, from reality here. I say no necessary true. The key to achieve success is be able to place yourself in corporate world clans. The most important part is, how yo...

Re: George Carlin's final words to the world

George Carlin stile is about serious things with a comedy twist. Great comedian. If you pay attention and "read between lines" he always sends a message.

Good link K :)

Re: USB TV Tuner

I still think you need to install pavucontrol. It will help in a lot of things. I never called it that way but once I ran it I knew what it was intermediately (pulse audio settings, duh!). Yes they are installed and that is where I was trying to adjust the sound and that is where I can see the prog...
