Re: Why is the popup function important?
My colleagues hate me when I bring this up, but I have a strong belief that people, as web browser users are generally becoming more savvy and more comfortable handling their choice of web browser. I figure the "open in new window" thing came from the days when we didn't have tabs, middle-...

Re: Gnome wallpaper changer
Done this one to death I think ( : but I recently switched to the xfce4 desktop as gnome was getting in my way a little. So I re-wrote my wallpaper changer script for my dual monitor setup and set to run on startup. See: https://github.com/rvause/stuff/blob/master/randomwallpaper/wallpaper_changer_x...

Re: Gnome wallpaper changer
Here is a link to my solution. It will take an argument (path of a wallpaper) so if you add a launcher for it on your panel you can drag and drop wallpapers on the launcher to change. Only clicking the launcher would pick a random wallpaper. You can provide a path to wallpapers folder in wallpaper.p...

Silly to use a distribution that tries to be Windows. There is so much about OSS that is better and an improvement. If you want to use Windows, you should use Windows.
