Re: Mageia 7 released

I did an upgrade from 6 to 7 on a laptop. I use KDE on US English, so far so good. First that I tried was with Mandrake 7.0 when Gäel Duval was around. Do you have a phone that has a SD Card for extra storage? Most Samsung phones has those capabilities. You can take that card.from the phone and use an USB adapter to copy the files. Some phones are decent connecting to a puter, transfer rate changes, some are slow as heck.

Re: Is this a possible goodbye to C and C++ programming?

What I am very defensive with Microsoft using/ colaborating on Open Source codes. Mark my words... they are a cancer, a parasite, once they invade the host they will asimilate the host like the Borg. At the end, those small pieces of codes can be "copywrited". You are not seen it right now...

Re: Wireless issue (AGAIN), Mageia 5

I used the ndiswraper, seems to work but on some puters, seems to forget to connect when it goes to powersave mode, or install again, suffers a bit of CRS

Re: Arch 32-bit download?

Reminds me when we transitioned from 16 to 32. I only have 2 old laptos that are 32 bits, the rest are all 64.

Just the pains of evolution.

I wonder who will be the 1st with 128

Re: Streaming and region locking

A Proxy or VPN is the only way I know to fool streaming. I wonder, if changing the Phone Region Settings and stoping the GPS service might help. Will loose Maps and Time functionality/accuracy. Anyway, the location setting on mine is turned off, so the phone say...

Re: What are you reading right now?

I am not much of a reader, not for pleasure, more for learning. However, I do more podcasts because I can listen to them and do other things at the same time. Work, drive, etc... I can be soaking up the info and use my time more effective. But, there is always, some that is not on audio and that is ...
