If you're in Networking, doesn't that place you in the IT arena?

Re: What are you watching right now?

I'm down again with my back, so will be watching a lot of stuff through the weekend (have possibly ruptured a disk). Just got through watching How To Train Your Dragon. I liked it. Reminded me in a way of Shrek.

Re: This is the life.

I will do that, see if there is anyone around who can test it. Good idea there.
I can switch the HDMI converter between 720p and 1020p, but it's blank black on 720p, like it's not even there.
Thank you!

Re: This is the life.

Well, the GameCube ended up not working with my TV so far. I got an RCA to HDMI setup to HDMI 2 (Arc) even, and on it, I get a blank blue screen. I have AV connections on the TV, but on that, my TV doesn't even recognize the GameCube. Anyone that might know what's going on? I have a Sanyo Roku TV (s...

Re: RealTek 8821CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC driver (Linux)?

Anyone that can help work on this project, please? I would appreciate you more than you know. I am years out of coding practice, but can help with testing, etc. Thanks so much! :love

P.S.: This was not marked as solved! That was a mistake! How do I undo it? Never mind, found it.

You both misinterpreted my question. I am wondering if they are making these changes because of the calls about racism.

Linus Torvalds banishes masters, slaves and blacklists from the Linux kernel, starting now

...As a colossal commit count crashes into Linux 5.8-rc5 I'm still reading this. Not much to say yet. Ah, here we go: In their place coders will be expected to use alternatives such as “primary” and “secondary” relationships, or refer to “leaders” and “followers”, or even “directors” and “performer...

Re: RealTek 8821CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC driver (Linux)?

First entry in Google search link: not listed. As I said, they don't have the driver for Linux right now for this thing. Last link, it's listed, but I have to establish a connection to get it going, and I have no way to do that, and will not jump through hoops to do it, to find the driver is outdate...

I shouldn't have to.
I think I'm going to try something different altogether. Zorin OS

freeDB

Was anyone here aware that the freeDB at freedb.freedb.org shut down in March? It's made this kid's life a living hell, let me tell ya. Not sure what to plug into my ripping softwares now, or, for that matter, my tagging softwares.

More here.
