Re: First truly open-source smartphone

I'm also thinking on this, something along the line of, "Imagine the updates."

Re: Really want to learn some Linux? New Arch.iso is out

I never could get Manjaro to install , plus I just really have always loved Arch. I don't bother with Gnome or KDE, unless there are files from it for XFCE. Gnome & KDE remind me of two-party system we have here in the states. Most don't realise that honestly, both parties suck, and there are m...

Re: Possible handover of Assange to UK may be imminent

Actually, the rape charge went away some time back. They just want him now because he ran away and failed to show on it. He is also charged with conspiracy and hacking charges in the US, in collusion with Chelsea Manning, another trooper for justice. This conspiracy theory that he's joined up with t...

Proof that he's a CIA asset? Please send a credible link, not just opinion. Thanks. Re: the book, there is no need to wonder why he had it. It is THE very subject matter of why he releases files, etc., to expose. He is fighting this very thing, just as Vidal did. "History of The National Securi...

Re: Really want to learn some Linux? New Arch.iso is out

I didn't stick around with Mandriva until 2012. When things started falling apart for them, I went here to this forum, then went back to Arch and Fedora.

Re: Really want to learn some Linux? New Arch.iso is out

Mandriva's 2008.1 release was the best Mandriva version IMO, but the best system I had, was a Fedora/Arch dual boot. Stable as all hell, very customizable, and just plain very nice. Maybe someday, I'll be able to do it again.

However, if it's a real crap song, I have absolutely zero problem singing it with made-up comical lyrics.

Re: Congress Investigating secrecy arround security flaw

Very true. Here in WY, I've stopped even discussing Linux with people around town, because as soon as I'd mention Linux, they'd say, "I don't even know what that is." The first thing I now think is, "OK, people, keep your desire for ignorance and Windows. You'll get what you deserve f...
